SOX Erosion Control
SOX is an erosion control system that turns ugly eroded banks into smooth, clean lines, appeasing to the eyes. A double layer of knitted polyethylene mesh is utilized that is anchored to the embankment and filled with sediment. This process stops erosion completely and creates a fully integrated, secure, living shoreline that supports vegetation.
MLP is the only business in western North Carolina that is a SOX Certified Service Provider. We are one of four business in the entire state of North Carolina and one of six business in the entire state of South Carolina that have been trained and certified for SOX installations.
